A Way to Play Changes Everything
Empowering kids with cancer through active play
Our Mission
My name is Maddie Muller. I am a 13 year old cancer survivor who was inspired to give back. I shared this goal with my family who have jumped in head first to support me! Warriors Play Too is a Dallas based nonprofit. Our mission is to give children undergoing active cancer treatment the gift of fun through a toy that encourages active play.

My Journey
From Cancer Patient to Advocate
In November of 2020, I was diagnosed with ovarian dysgerminoma cancer. We already knew that I was genetically predisposed to this type of cancer. My treatment included surgery and four rounds of chemotherapy at Children's Hospital of Dallas. After four months of successful treatment, I had the honor of ringing the bell.
Throughout the hardships of childhood cancer, one thing that really brightened my day was playing outside with my friends while riding my HoverflyKart. This helped me feel like a normal kid for a little while. All of the nausea, fatigue, and hurt went away. Ever since completing treatment, I've been wanting to give other kids with cancer a way to do the same. I don't think I can put into words how great it feels to finally do this.
